  • Peggy Gates decided early on to build up a healthy soil ecosystem in her urban lot. She shares why she started having chicken and then bees, and the many patient steps she took to attract pollinators. In her Golden, Colorado garden she also used Permaculture concepts like raised beds, and drip to save water, and she has ‘lessons learned’ and tips for fellow gardeners.
